Reinforcing Steel (Rebar) Cleaning

When it comes to cleaning up reinforcing steel ( rebar ), there is no better method than vapor abrasive blasting. Significantly less dust than sandblasting (at least 90% reduction) and much lower abrasive consumption. These two benefits alone, keep the clean-up time of the project to a minimum.

Adding a rust inhibitor and salt remover solution to the mix eliminates the ‘re-rusting’ while cleaning off hardened concrete that can be a time consuming headache with any other method of surface preparation.

When considering your surface preparation options; choose the method that gets the best results with the least amount of disruption to your job site.

Tim, why do you need to blast rebar before pouring concrete?
